Our Purpose
Our purpose for existing is for the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the desire to exalt Him as Central in all things. It is the desire of God the Father that we all be conformed into the image of His Dear Son, in Whom He is well pleased, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore some verses of Scripture that sum up what we are striving to be about are as follows:
2Pe 3:18 KJV - But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Rom. 8:28-39 KJV - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth. Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are an Independent Church.
Independent means that we are not part of a larger denomination or convention, but instead we are a self-governing body of believers free from outside control.
We are a Fundamental Church.
What this means is that we believe in the fundamentals of the faith that are constantly coming under attack by liberal churches that do not base their beliefs solely on the Scriptures. The basic fundamentals are:
We are a Baptist Church.
Not only does this mean that we believe in what is called Baptism by immersion after a person comes to faith in Jesus Christ, but that we also hold to historical beliefs that have made Baptist distinctive.

What this means is that we believe in the fundamentals of the faith that are constantly coming under attack by liberal churches that do not base their beliefs solely on the Scriptures. The basic fundamentals are:
- The belief that the Scriptures are completely without error.
- The belief in the literal Virgin Birth of Christ.
- The belief in the Blood Atonement of Jesus Christ, God's Only Son for the sins of mankind.
- The belief in Christ's literal bodily resurrection from the dead and ascension back to Heaven.
- The belief in Christ's literal and bodily return to earth to judge the wicked, called the Second Coming.
